The formation of Comotion was a slow-burning plan, the taper being lit when Rob, Paul and Nish met years ago working as consultants on various Change and management consultant projects. As they met in restaurants, bars and board-rooms over the next 15 years they compared notes and discussed approaches, and what they came to realise was that..

  • being truly customer-led gives businesses a total turbo charge in terms of growth and competitive edge
  • to remodel a business to become customer-led requires deep change and a new alignment within every department, and to do this businesses need a partner with both commercial and emotional insight and strategy. Not one or the other, which they had seen to fail.

Comotion was formed to offer clients the whole package in one partner: emotion (marketing, communications and social) and commercial (data, analysis and innovation).

    The right approach at the right time

    Our projects always start with the end in mind, focusing on how a client can build a transformation that they own. This is often reflected in the kind of skills and contractual arrangements we use throughout. Thus, we often begin with a consulting assignment. After a while, our role becomes more that of a facilitator, especially during the design period. This allows you as the client more control when developing new ways of working. Following this, we usually move into a contract / interim relationship during the delivery phase. For you as the client, it means minimised costs whilst having an extra pairs hands to help complete the work.
